I tend to be an over-packer so keep that in mind when making your own packing list, however all of these items have helped us out in a bind so I’m thankful for everything on this list!!

1) Small First Aid Kit

I take a small, clear, waterproof bag to use as a first aid kit and fill it with Band-Aids, alcohol wipes, moleskin, Advil, medicine, small manicure set, chapstick, and anti-chafing gel.

2) Wet Wipes/Hand Wipes

The travel section at Target has a great selection of items. We usually grab a couple of packs to swap from our suitcase into our park bag when one runs out.

3) Hand Sanitizer

Even prior to the virus hand sanitizer at Disney is always a must have! You touch so many things, rides, railings, merchandiser, etc. Since COVID Disney has added tons of hand sanitizer stations, but if you have a favorite brand bring that because some of the machines at Disney leave your hands feeling sticky.

4) Portable Fan

Florida gets super hot!!!! Add the Florida heat and mask wearing together and you will definitely appreciate packing a fan. We got ours from Amazon a few years back for around 13 dollars! The brand is called Version Tech. We love these fans because they’re rechargeable, it has 3 different speeds, and the charge last pretty long.

5) Extra Mask

We packed 3 mask per day, per person in our park bag. We packed this many just in case one dropped, got soiled, or uncomfortable. (We also bring an extra Ziploc to put dirty mask in)

6)Sunglasses

Any brand will do!

7)Travel Sunscreen

Do not run out of sunscreen! They do sell sunscreen at the parks, but it’s best to pack the brand you know and reapply frequently!

8) Mini Deodorant

Target has a great selection of brands in the travel section.

9) Portable Phone Charger

We have an Aker charger and that has worked great. We also have Fuel Rods that you can exchange in the parks for free for a fully charged rod when your Fuel Rods battery is empty.

10) Camera

I mainly use my phone for pictures, unless vlogging, but I still pack my DSLR just in case! I do strongly recommend purchasing Disney Photopass that way you can have ride photos and nice family photos throughout the parks!!!

11) Light Sweater

Sometimes the evenings can be really cool so I’ll usually toss in a light jacket after a midday break.

12) Packable Rain Jacket

Don’t be surprised if it rains even if the radar says it’s going to be a clear, beautiful day. We’ve been stuck in many rainstorms at Disney, sometimes they only last a couple of minutes, but it’s still really nice to have.

13) Water

At most of the parks tap water is fine, but the water at Magic Kingdom definitely has an acquired taste that I cannot get past. On Magic Kingdom days we typically bring our own bottled water or purchase bottled beverages at the park. You may also want to throw some snacks in your bag, but we love the food at Disney so we don’t typically pack snacks.

14) Ziploc Bags

We like to pack Ziploc bags for our phone during water rides, or to put dirty mask in.

15) Extra hair ties
