Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park
Butler County, Ohio
Located about 30 minutes from Cincinnati resides a 300+ acre sculpture park called Pyramid Hill. Honestly, I am kicking myself for not knowing this place existed. We visited once over the summer of 2020 and then again in the fall of 2020. There are many events that take place here such as Art Festivals and a Christmas Holiday Light Show, I am just shocked that I had never visited before.
We came across this park because we were actively searching for “socially distanced” activities to do close to home. With over 300 acres, there is more than enough room to spread out, keep your distance, and enjoy your time. The first time we went we thought we could walk around the grounds, but the second time we went we were better prepared and decided it would be best to rent a golf cart.
Admission cost is $8.00 for adults and $3.00 for children ages 6-12. The golf cart (“Art Cart”) rentals cost $20 for the first hour and $15 for each addition hour. You don’t necessarily need a golf cart, but it will make exploring the grounds much easier.
You will find that there are a ton of cool photo opportunities, so be sure to bring your camera along. Wear your walking shoes because there’s a lot of land to cover. Also, you may want to pack a lunch and enjoy a nice picnic.
There are over 80 different sculptures outside covering the grounds. There are hiking paths, small lakes, and gardens. There’s even a small museum, which we haven’t explored yet, but we plan to the next time.
